Tesla Coming Soon Supercharger map updates

Tesla Find-US map is now showing the locations of the Q4 2022 Supercharger voting winners with a new star icon. In the lower 48 states, I spy: Dalton, GA Sylva, NC Big Bear Lake, CA Morro Bay, CA Lake Okeechobee, FL South Korea, Germany, Italy, and Hungary have some winning locations with a...

    Supercharger Voting 2023

Why is Provincetown an option available to vote for when Tesla Find-Us already has it listed as getting stations in Q3 2023? Seems like a waste of a vote.

Tesla asking for SC location suggestions, on Twitter.

Provincetown was added to Tesla's FIND US coming in Q3 2023.

    Supercharger - Epsom, NH

This was added to Tesla's FIND US page recently for Q2 2023.

RFP EM-008-2023: DC Fast Charging Stations – Phase 4

Tesla is opening its EV charge connector to other makes in the hope of making it the North American standard. Will be interesting to see if it can be adopted and replace CCS for DC charging before all the newly planned CCS chargers are built across New England, etc...

New Hampshire VW Environmental Mitigation Trust Direct Current Fast Charging Infrastructure Request for Proposals

Electrify America was funded by the VW settlement, but the state's individual VW trust funds are separate and independent of EA, correct? Because EA is also planning at least one more site along I-93, likely either in the Lakes Region or White Mountains, within the next two years. So that should...

New Hampshire VW Environmental Mitigation Trust Direct Current Fast Charging Infrastructure Request for Proposals

As suspected, NH's VW settlement plans have a massive overlap with NH's plan of Fed-approved NEVI locations. Some NEVI funds may be allocated to "upgrade" the VW sites. VW https://www.des.nh.gov/sites/g/files/ehbemt341/files/documents/vw-rfp-2021-eligible-rankings.pdf NEVI...

Tesla Coming Soon Supercharger map updates

Tesla has had this job posting up for a month, but only one applicant so far (via LinkedIn at least). This might be why Supercharger permits aren't moving as fast as they could be otherwise- Permitting Specialist, Supercharger (Boston) "Tesla seeks a Permitting Specialist for our Northeast...

    Supercharger- Thornton, NH

Under Filters, Plugshare has an option to "Show Coming Soon Locations" that will appear on the map as a wrench icon. Massachusetts has a bunch of CCS chargers coming in the next 24 months that were manually added one at a time. Vermont and Maine have a few on the map as well. Probably because...

    Supercharger- Thornton, NH

@Tdreamer, when you find plans that include non-Tesla charging stations, do you add those to PlugShare like you have done on Supercharge.info for Superchargers?

New Hampshire VW Environmental Mitigation Trust Direct Current Fast Charging Infrastructure Request for Proposals

On that note, EA isn't installing any new CHAdeMO cables on new sites outside of California. Even in California CHAdeMO is only 7% of charging usage- "The writing has been on the wall for a while now, and Nissan's decision to transition from CHAdeMO to CCS for the upcoming Ariya was seen by...

New Hampshire VW Environmental Mitigation Trust Direct Current Fast Charging Infrastructure Request for Proposals

I was curious why NH insists on each VW settlement funded charger location including CHAdeMO when as of 2022 the only new BEV (I believe) using CHAdeMO is a Nissan Leaf. Since NH is using VW funds to build chargers that will work exclusively for one model from one manufacturer, I (mostly...

New Hampshire VW Environmental Mitigation Trust Direct Current Fast Charging Infrastructure Request for Proposals

I know the VW settlement RFP in for the CCS station installers, but I think the short list of potential host sites that expressed interest is itself interesting. I was hoping to see more interest in hosting from the NH ski areas (Waterville Valley did, but that was it) and tourist attractions...

New Hampshire VW Environmental Mitigation Trust Direct Current Fast Charging Infrastructure Request for Proposals

NH DOT released a plan for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment on August 1, 2022 and it is anticipated to be approved on Sept 30, 2022. It seems too vague and looks like they don't plan to have EV charging locations finalized until 2024 and have stations ready until 2025-2027...
