Are you in CA? The lemon law in CA deducts mileage (as a percent of 120k miles, times the purchase price), but only mileage up until the first service visit. Not for all miles on the car.

They diagnosed my shuddering and are replacing a front half shaft (or both, I'm not sure). I think that basically means "axle". Two months ago they replaced a front motor mount for the same kind of sound.
