Why would you say that? You only heat the water you use, instead of the water you use plus keeping it hot 24hrs a day. A quick search on Google for "energy used water heater 50 gal vs. tankless" shows a 30% avg savings with a tankless.

This thread was originally created about the first Powershare install. How is it going. Is it installed? Is it working? Does the truck feed the House/powerwall? Were there gotchas during the install?

If the next new thing starts shipping the day after I get mine installed, I'd be bummed. If it starts shipping 6mos after I get mine installed I wouldn't be as bummed. Especially since the one that gets installed will be with me for the rest of my life.
