I did the same as you a couple of weeks ago, the LR wait and variation was too much, no regrets upgrading to the M3P, mine came with matrix…you will love the performance. I did get my first wheel rim rash last week though :(

This was me also…for weeks.. I finally broke down and said “if I don’t get the performance, I’ll regret it”. Like a good salesman told me when buying my last mountain bike: “No one ever came back to the store wishing they’d bought the cheaper bike”… 😂🤣😂🤣. I will always remember that line..

Yes, pricing was as if I had ordered on 3/14, which was $4k less than todays price.. in my head this is how I justified it….it’s a $7k increase, but Inwas going to get performance boost anyway at $2k, so then it’s only a $5k increase, but the price went up $4k, so really it’s only $1k more to...

Also motors, I believe the SR and LR share the same motor, the P is an upgraded version… compounded by sky rocket demand for the SR (Hertz) and the LR (popular for range anxiety) it’s got to make for a challenging supply chain and operations..

I also had an OD of 3/14, the wait was driving me crazy, after more research, I switched to M3P and picked up this weekend. If my EDD had shifted out, I would be flipping! 😬😬😬

Original order date for M3LR was 3/14, just got back from picking it up same day that I switched.. Abolsutly no regrets, acceleration is bananas!

So I switched to a M3P at 8:45am this morning, at 3pm, I drove off the lot with the vehicle! Total shock, surprise, etc…. For those with long EDDs and on the fence for a performance, it might be worth it.. I figured I was going to get AB anyway, so the price delta is $5K…

90 mins after making the switch, I got my VIN and EDD 6/4 (today) - 6/8!!! Holy moly, that’s quite a lull up. Gonna save another months worth of gas!

Holy moly, literally 90 minutes after switching to the M3P, I get the ‘Your VIN has been assigned’ text and delivery window Jun 4th (yes, today) to June 8th… 😬😃
