Supercharger - Buellton, CA (temporary closure)

And less prone to theft, isn't it?

Thinking of a better way to describe this type of closure. "Temporary" seems to imply that it's short term. Maybe "semi-permanent" or "closed - upgrade in progress" would be suitable alternative headlines.

    Supercharger - Mammoth Lakes, CA - Old Mammoth Rd. (LIVE 24 Nov 2023, 12 V3 + 4 L2)

Just curious. Under what circumstance would you need to charge up here if you already had 194 rated miles? Headed north to Lake Tahoe?

Supercharger - Santa Ynez, CA - Santa Ynez St. (under construction May 2024, 8 stalls)

I stop at the nearby grocery all the time - they serve outstanding santa maria bbq. This is a great location!

Supercharger - Buellton, CA (temporary closure)

This is a great stop, but if they upgrade it I won't be able to walk down to 620 McMurray Rd (Firestone) to eat lunch and get back at the exact time my charge is complete. This is going to really throw off my travel flow. :(

    Supercharger - Mammoth Lakes, CA - Old Mammoth Rd. (LIVE 24 Nov 2023, 12 V3 + 4 L2)

If there was a mismatch between the spacing of the SC stalls and the width of each parking space, wouldn't that have been readily apparent in the drawings that accompanied the permit for the work? This leads to three explanations. 1) This is the intended design and all contractors followed the...

Jeez. The striping here warrants immediate corrective action. Even from the one photo, it's easy to see how poorly this was done.

    Supercharger - Mojave, CA (EXPANDED Dec 2021, 6 V2 + 4 V3 + 2 urban stalls)

The lack of permanently closed sites may be a bit of an undercount, for example Harris Ranch. The original superchargers were located about 500ft away from the current SCs. Technically, the old site was closed and a new improved site was opened. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/298650/...

Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA - Camino Del Rio Ct (LIVE 22 Dec 2023, 20 V3 stalls)

From Tesla.com, "All V4 Superchargers are equipped with a longer cable, providing easy access for all EVs. V4 currently supports peak rates of up to 250kW per vehicle and is future-proofed to allow for updates and new features." Elsewhere, Tesla confirmed that V4 will be capable of 350kW per...

Has anyone noticed that the V4 cabinets seem to be a bit more squarish? https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/supercharger-wilsonville-or-under-construction-aug-2023-8-v4-stalls.309133/page-3

    Supercharger - Hendersonville, NC

Hendersonville is a nice town to visit in the summer. The weather is relatively cool and there's so much to see in the mountains.

Surprise! It's always nice to see a new location pop up out of nowhere.
