    Yeah, that seems like it's what's going on. It's incredibly fine. I don't recall having seen this on any of my other cars--although this is the only white one I own... ;-)

    I have an arctic white 2.5 sport (#1425). I have noticed that after driving a short distance, a light black dust starts to build up on the rear of the car (and to a lesser extent behind the front wheels). If you drag your finger along the rear fender after driving 20 miles, it will come up...

    Yep--that clunk doesn't bother me a bit. The one that bothers me occurs every time you get on or off the accelerator at very low speeds. It's definitely mechanical in nature and is either gear backlash or some other compliance in the drivetrain, as you can feel it as the tiniest hesitation...

    Yes; there are no contacts opening up; just a transition from positive to negative current in the FET's or IGBT's in the PEM. The clunk and windup is either from gear backlash (some of which is normal) or compliance in the motor and gearbox mounting. I do not feel it at all once above parking...
