    Some people have asked whether you can remove the NVX sub. You can. Just take out the hex screws and use a panel removal tool to remove the sub. It is not glued in. It looked like NVX put threaded metal inserts inside the mounting holes. I considered swapping the NVX for a JLAudioW3. One issue...

    To the extent this helps anybody else, here is where I tapped the power and ground for the XLC. I used 3M t-taps. I will likely redo this and solder the connections and use smaller wire . I wrapped with TESA tape afterwards.
