I have a Yeti Roadie 24 and it does fit in the trunk of my 2019 M3, but have to center it in the middle of trunk where opening is tallest and angle the cooler to get it in and out. Not ideal but it does work, hopes this helps

Just renewed my tags and noticed same thing with year of 23 on it. My understanding is that all EV registrations are due in January so no month necessary as other registrations.
