Question about windshield repair and mileage reporting

Hi all, I recently had a windshield rock chip repaired on my Tesla by Safelite, and the service was covered by my Progressive insurance with no deductible. The repair was done at my home, and at no point was the car unlocked or accessed by the technician. However, I noticed something...

    Rear seat headphones?

Sorry, correction - rear USB-C outlets are power only. I just use a USB-C hub in the center console for music storage and USB-A controllers run to the rear.

    Rear seat headphones?

Success! I got the 1656787-00-B part from Tesla, and installed it myself in about 10m following the service guide terranx posted above. I now have working Bluetooth for the rear screen, for entertainment and gaming. This module replacement is all that is required; I still have the original...

    Rear seat headphones?

This is incredibly helpful info, thank you. I took a look and indeed I have the 1755200-00-B (non Bluetooth) that came with the car. I have made a service appointment with Tesla to see about getting this replaced with one that supports Bluetooth. Not sure if/how much they will charge me; i...

    Rear seat headphones?

This is great information, thank you. Where is this module in the car, and how do you get to it? I’d like to look at my USB hub to see if maybe it is the A revision that may not have Bluetooth.

    Rear seat headphones?

Interesting that Muzzman1’s 2021 with 16GB upgrade works, but xEvoLveDx’s does not. When were your 2021’s built? FYI, my 8GB that does not work was delivered Sept 2021.

    Rear seat headphones?

Ok, further update. With 2023.44.30.5.1 just installed, there is some additional text during the Bluetooth search process “Some vehicles may require additional hardware to be compatible with headphone pairing.” The search is still unsuccessful on my 2021. I think this confirms that the 2021...

    Rear seat headphones?

The release notes used to have the “Rear Passenger Headphones” details, but as of today those have now been removed for my car. That is, the release notes no longer show this either in the app or in the car, wthout any further software updates. However I can still start an (unsuccessful) BT...

    Rear seat headphones?

I have a 2021 Plaid, and am now running 2023.44.30.3. I can start a search for BT headphones from the rear display, but it never shows anything. I’ve tried two different BT headphones and it can’t find either. My iPhone can see them just fine. Where is the info you saw that the 2021 (early...

Refresh X audio stutter after the latest firmware update

Actually looks like it’s not completely fixed. Still gives audio stuttering for the first 10-15 seconds.

Refresh X audio stutter after the latest firmware update

2023.2.0.5 “minor bug fixes” just installed seems to have fixed this, as well as Apple Music correctly resuming from where it left off.

Refresh X audio stutter after the latest firmware update

I have the exact same issue on my 2021 refresh Model S after the 2022.44.30 update a few days ago. It happens on Apple Music and on YouTube in the rear. It happens for 30 seconds or so every time I get into the car and start driving. I was previously on 2022.44.25.3 without any issues.

Upgrading Brake Pads for Plaid - Racing Brake

The car for sure has a lot more in it - Tesla factory driver did just over 1:30. I know I can do a few seconds better than 1:44 with less and later braking, but I don’t have skill or risk tolerance for much more - especially not first time at Laguna in this car, given I have to drive it home...
