Tesla SC and MYLR vs MYP Impressions

I have had my MYP for almost a year and the ride can be rough on bad roads but also great on smooth roads (rarity in NE). My plan when it is time to buy new rubber will be to by a square set of TSF or TS5 20” wheels and tires from TSportline for just a tiny bit more than just the rubber on the...

    Home power loss when charging

Just wanted to update- I have turned the wall charger down to 30A for now since we don’t drive a huge amount (3500 miles since September between two of us) and have scheduled a sub panel upgrade to 200A. Anything higher would have required a much bigger budget and digging. Just wanted to thank...

I do own the building so I can upgrade per all of these recommendations! Thanks again to everyone. I appreciate all of the feedback.

    Home power loss when charging

There is a main breaker (100A I think) with two sub panels (60A each in a two family house). The 60A sub panel that is with my unit keeps tripping. I hope this makes more sense. I’m in healthcare and have no idea about anything that has to do with electrical. I’m sure I’m leaving some important...

    Home power loss when charging

Thanks all for the replies. Yes I am pulling 48A when home charging and don’t drive often. Wife and I share the Y. I walk to work. Have been living in the house for 20 years without any electrical upgrades. It’s time. Thanks again, everyone!

    Home power loss when charging

Hi all. I have owned my MYP since Sept 2022. Have gen 3 HPWC on a 60A breaker. Lost power twice while charging at home twice last night. No dryer or dishwasher on. Temps outside 30F. Lost power a few times in the summer when window AC units were cranking. My electrician did suggest I may need...

MXLR rejected, Loveland, CO - mild pressure and mild BSing from the SA to take it

My journey started with looking at used model X’s and waiting for the right configuration followed by ordering a new MYP (after test driving a used for 7k more). My decision was mostly based on reading all of the stories about the model X’s suspension. Also, after the test drive of the Y, I...

    Tilt mirror

Is there a way to have passengers side mirror tilt and have the drivers side mirror NOT tilt? When I disable one side, it activates both. Is this just the default?

    Massachusetts Waiting Room

I had a good experience at Norwell as well. I would consider taking it there for service even though it’s farther away.

Tesla will tell you what to do step by step via text. I financed with Skyline CU (based in CT) for 2.39. I, like Erica, was in contact with my insurance agent prior and texted my agent info to Tesla along with my policy number.

I asked Tsportline if the model 3 door trim would fit the model Y. Their reply was that they haven’t had a 2022 Y to test it out on. I, of course, volunteered to try it on mine if they sent it to me for free🤣

    Massachusetts Waiting Room

I gave them my insurance agent’s info on the app. And I provided them with the policy number. The rest was taken care of. I also noticed my agent and gave him a heads up of the purchase so it all went very smoothly for me.

    Massachusetts Waiting Room

Negative i never got a text about that. It was a text more along the lines of “prepare for delivery day.” Also, the info was more about checking everything that was in the app such as the trade, financing, etc.
