It seems to me like it's several things. I do notice a change in pressure depending on whether AC is on/off/recirculate with windows closed and not driving. I think cabin pressure and/or buffeting while driving does attribute to the feeling. However I also think theres something else happening...

Just wanted to add that my wife and I are also experiencing weird ear/head/pressure in our Y. Initial suggestions of buffeting made sense, but then again we still feel it with windows open, which makes me dismiss cabin pressure theory somewhat. And like OP stated, it's also felt when not moving. :/
