Electrician installed wall connector using Romex 8/3 + 60A breaker

Consider switching to a 40 amp breaker, if your electrical inspector will accept that with the 8/3 cable. My 30 amp system will give a 20% to 90% charge over night. I see no advantage to having a higher charge rate for one EV. If you need to charge two EV's on the same day the 60 amp system...

Lost driver profile settings, FSDb, navigation settings, trips, etc. after scroll wheel reboot, cloud profile not showing back up in car

When I signal a turn, the front fender camera shows what is in my blind spot, on the upper left corner of the display. This does not work for my wife, how do we get it for her?

Vendor The solution to Tesla Road Noise and Dust- Door seal

In my Model 3 the interior noise is mainly dependent on the road surface. I haven't noticed any difference with the door seals, but they are keeping the hinge areas etc much cleaner. Not perfect, but a worthwhile improvement. I got my seals from EVACA.CA

    Squeak/groan from front of M3

My 2018 M3LRRWD started squeaking 2 weeks ago. Loud squeaks on every bump and when I turn the steering wheel. I booked a service appt. with the app, seems like Tesla is familiar with this problem. I am taking it in for parts replacement Aug 31, under warranty. will let you know how it goes.

    Squeak/groan from front of M3

Just had the same thing in my 2018 M3LRRWD. loud squeaks on every bump and when I turn the steering wheel. Booked a service appointment with the app, seems like Tesla is familiar with this. 41,000 km on mine, still under warranty, estimate cost $0.00. Taking it in for parts replacement in 2...

Blog Tesla Delivered 241,300 Vehicles in Q3

Seeing a considerable number of Porsche Taycans on the street in Vancouver, it seems to me Tesla does have competition in the luxury market. They sold 20,000 in 2020, are on track to sell 40,000 this year.

Ordered a Plaid, delivery date has changed to a much sooner date...

It will be great to see the Model S Plaid on the road. I have seen quite a few Taycans on Vancouver streets in recent months. Seems like Tesla has given Porsche the market for luxury sedans. I like the Taycan look, much better than the Panamera.

M3LR cruise control without FSD questions

I have been driving my LR RWD model 3 without autopilot for 2 years now. I use cruise a lot, just tap down on the shift lever, make small adjustments with the right side track ball. It will not work at less than 30 km/hr, but other than that okay for my driving. I had a one month trial of...

VW Group CEO Herbert Diess Confirms 'Race With Tesla' & VW's Advantages

Volkswagen CEO thinks they can catch up to Tesla. He thinks the existing dealer network is an advantage. Not likely, dealers are not likely to push very low maintenance EV's, they like the cash flow from maintaining ICE cars. As to all their body styles, adapting an ICE body to battery...

How often do you floor the pedal?

I have been driving my RWD 3 for 2 years now. Best time to floor it is on a wet road about 2/3 of the way around an on ramp. Back wheels step out, feels great. Any time I have a quarter mile or more of clear road ahead works too.

Tesla Reduces Model Y Delivery Timeline By 4 Weeks, Other Cars By 2-3

I ordered my Model 3 RWD on August 17, 2018 and was told delivery would be 8 to 12 weeks. It was ready to pick up in Vancouver August 31, I took delivery September 1. No idea why delivery happened so fast, but I was thrilled. I am still enjoying every drive, and am keen to test drive a Model Y.

    Roadside Assistance - First Experience

Good to hear lots of others have rubbed curbs, my model 3 right side wheels are ground down too. looking at the Michelin website I see the Primacy tires can be mounted on wheels from 7.5 to 9 inches wide. Are the base 18" wheels 9 inches wide? If so would 7.5 inch wheels make the tires hit...
