I've been having undetected storage issues every morning for almost a couple years. Rarely works in the morning. Fine driving home after work. Summer mornings are a bit better. I wonder if it has to do with the magnetic part of the plug contracting from the cold and the leads aren't contacting.

Wouldn't it be better to wait until after inclusion has happened (and after Battery Day which should follow a week or so after inclusion)? Waiting for higher SP helps Tesla reduce dilution.

@Fact Checking does a great job explaining it on Twitter. Many of the names added to the S&P 500 didn't get a big bump in SP because they were already members of the S&P 400. Their shares were already owned by the index funds and just had to be transferred to the S&P 500 index. Those companies...

The four V3 stalls at SLO appear to be finished, but they still had “Coming Soon” covers on them when I charged there last Sunday. And I’d love a SC in King City. Salinas traffic can really slow down a trip going from and to the freeway during the daytime.

Hopefully it’s a v3 Supercharger. That should really help with throughput.

FWIW, I was told this by my service manager when I picked up my 2018 Model 3 after recently getting the HW3 retrofit.

Software is the biggest bottleneck for HW3 retrofits (at least for HW2.5 cars). If the software doesn’t install correctly, Tesla has held cars for two days before the software loads correctly.

In case there was any doubt about the staging area behind Home Depot. I saw “Tesla” written on two of the pallets this afternoon. There’s also now a bunch of plastic PVC conduit and a cutting machine there now too.

Bristol Farms is supposed go in the old Vons at La Cumbre. But I think it’s still stalled because they need better storm water management. Whenever it opens it’ll help make up for the loss of Sears and the withering Macy’s.
