    Tesla Insurance causes registration suspension

I called the DMV on Nov. 27th and they told me to email a copy of my Ins ID Card to [email protected] which I did. Still got suspended.

    Tesla Insurance causes registration suspension

I have Tesla Insurance on my Model 3 and received a "Notice of Intent to Suspend" my registration due to the CA DMV claiming that they could not verify that I had insurance. I called T.I. and they said they would take care of it. I also emailed the DMV with my CA ID Card as requested. Tesla...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Monday the 4th - all quiet, no power. I was able to squeeze inside the locked fence (can't believe they left a gap large enough for an adult). I was hoping to find a sticker on the transformer that indicated how much power it can supply from the grid but it has nothing. Its very large with...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Thursday 26th @ 1:30 pm. Still no transformer. While I was there for ~ 5 min, two MXs drove up and plugged in. Guess the Electrek article got a few people's attention.

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Dropped by at noon today (9-11). No activity. No transformer. :-( They did finally close and lock the gate so you have to get close and peer in to see that the concrete pad is still empty. Waiting...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

@Ampster - thanks for the update. Next time you stop by, look for the PG&E transformer that will be on the concrete pad behind the green wooden fence. The pad is about 8' square and, the last time I looked, there was no transformer. PG&E transformers are typically big green metal boxes and...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

There are no numbers or letters currently on any of the 20 pedestals. That, of course, could change after testing - we shall see.

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

OK, so I visited again - Sunday, nobody around and gate still wide open. I unzipped a couple of bags and checked all sides of the 5 bagged cabinets - nothing. I found the following on the 4 battery pack cabinets: And then I found the following on the single large cabinet with the "TESLA"...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Yesterday, this gate was open which allows access to the back of the cabinets - no one was around. It would seem an error to leave this gate unsecured. I'll try to go back later today and see if the gate is still open. There are zippers on these bags. If I can muster the nerve, I'll unzip...

Not sure which cabinets are the ones you are talking about. I saw this label below but I don't think it was on one of the V3 cabinets. I think that for some reason, they have put the V3 cabinets in bags. Where should I be looking for the rating lable?

I think we are getting ahead of ourselves on this one. The picture below shows the pad where the PG&E transformer will be placed. And given we are entering fire season, all the PG&E crews are out cutting trees away from the power lines. We might not see a transformer on that pad for a while...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Stopped by today (Aug 5) around 3pm to see some progress. As @miimura said, they are pulling cables from some new large cabinets to the SC pedestals. There is a large concrete pad (not pictured below) behind a wooden enclosure that is for PG&E's transformer but, as confirmed by the tech, it...

    Supercharger - Windsor, CA (LIVE 5 Nov 2021, 12 V3 stalls)

I also did a lap around Raley's today and saw nothing.

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

Stopped by noon on Friday. No one working. All 20 pedestals now installed (with nice skinny charging cables). Twelve are at the edge of the lot along Guerneville Road. Eight are perpendicular to the 12. Signage and striping already complete. Now I guess we just wait on PG&E... which could...

    Supercharger - Santa Rosa, CA (LIVE 20 Nov 2019, 20 V3 stalls)

This site is going to be incredible! Will be able to pump more juice than Kettleman (until Kettleman gets upgraded) 20, 250 kW unshared stalls = 5 megawatts (could power 50,000 100 watt bulbs) Will be able to (theoretically) add enough range in 15 minutes to cross the US and back (of course...
