    Anyone renting on Turo?

How's your experience renting it been since then (nearly a year later)? I'm about to start doing the same with my S85 in North Carolina.

Model S Depreciation significantly higher than expected

I really hope so! I just bought a CPO 2014 MS 85kw (pano, dual chargers, tech, hifi, air suspension) w/ 34k miles for $55.5k. Even the cheapest 2013 S60 was still going for ~$50k, so I hope this is an indication that these cars are finally starting to hold their value. I only plan to hold the...

Successful completion of Condo charging installation – Now I can charge at home!

Mine is only 5 miles (10 mins) away from home, which is nice. But my drive to work is only 2 miles so it shouldn't need to be charged often. Once I finally get off the waitlist for the garage near my work, they've got a dozen free L2 chargers which will be nice.

Successful completion of Condo charging installation – Now I can charge at home!

How did this work out for you? I recently bought an S85 and this is going to by my same situation for the first 6-8 months, unless I can find a solid garage nearby with a handful of L2s.

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

I'd have to both agree and disagree here. Sure, I probably could've had easily had the deposit refunded without using Twitter, but because of that it was escalated high up very quickly and the situation was resolved (plus some) with a whole new level of service. I really don't like to be a...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

I've since deleted the tweet, as the issue was resolved, in addition to the fact I did not want to give off the wrong impression to my followers in that it was at all the Service Advisor's fault. This is what it said, with the picture of the damage screenshot attached: "Feeling frustrated that...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

I wasn't trying to escalate my specific situation directly to the CEO, but rather bring attention to the fact I felt as if there was a flaw in the CPO process -- which it appears many other members on here would agree with. I also wasn't expecting him to even see it or care, but clearly he felt...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

Just to give everyone a final update on what happened: In my state of frustration yesterday, I took the recently "effective" route of sending a tweet to @ElonMusk himself, tagging @tesla of course, with the screenshot of the damage and a quick note about how I felt misled. Fast forward 12...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

I would also just like to make it known that the point of this post was not to throw anyone under the bus or escalate anything, but rather merely to ask for advice on what the best step would be if they were not willing to give my deposit back and there were not any other CPOs available that fit...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

Initially, the DS was refusing to give my deposit back, but they are now being more cooperative. That email was merely from the person listing the issues with the car as requested by my CPO specialist -- I want to make it clear she was not the one responsible for any of this in the least bit.

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

I think it'll be alright. I'm not at all saying that person was the one responsible. That email was simply from the Service Advisor at the dealership saying the issues wrong with the current car that was then sent to my CPO specialist. That is not the contact info for the DS I was working with...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

^ this guy gets it. Thank you for understanding where I'm coming from. It was just incredibly frustrating to be excited for my "perfect" car that was hopefully only weeks away, only to find out it had an array of problems that would take 6+ weeks to resolve and still potentially not be fixed in...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

I apologize if that was at all misleading, my emotions are just a bit on edge right now and that's just how I've been feeling all day. The CPO specialist initially said that refunding my deposit would not be an option, which I felt was a bit unfair on a car that had so many issues (especially...

Feeling misinformed on my CPO order (substantive previous damage) -- what should I do?

So... the time had finally come. After months of searching EV-CPO and carefully watching all of my custom alerts, I'd found a CPO that matched exactly what I was looking for (the day after it was added). The CPO specialist I'd been working with gave me a call about it as well, saying he thought...
