2012 - 2019 Model S Suspension Ride Height Inch Increments

Would someone with an early Model S 2012 - 2019 mind taking a picture of the "Suspension" screen and posting it here. I have a Model X and want to know what the inch increments are for each suspension setting. See the attached Model X example picture. Thanks!

Can an alignment fix X rear camber issue

One more thing I forgot to mention. The total rear toe should be set between 0.10 to 0.70 and the thrust angle should be -0.10 to 0.10 while the air suspension is set to Low instead of Medium. By aligning it on low you can use the stock air suspension setting on Always Low and never have the CV...

Can an alignment fix X rear camber issue

And I forgot to mention you should search for the 2021 and newer alignment adjust and check page on the Tesla service website since it will be different than the one I sent you.

Can an alignment fix X rear camber issue

You're welcome! I used to live in Kansas City and have spent a lot of time in St. Louis with business associates there. When you are looking at any MX new or used always go into Service Mode and check for errors in each panel. There may be an air suspension issue hiding that the previous owner...

Can an alignment fix X rear camber issue

Currently I own two MX, a 2017 and 2018 both purchased new. Tesla has only made a small suspension change to the 2022 and newer MX and MS on the rear control arms but it didn't fix the tire wear issues but does allow a cheaper shim option to reduce the negative camber instead of a complete...

Rear Camber arms option - Hardrace

Thank you for your post. I'm planning to replace my stock rear camber arms. After reading your specs are you saying you got positive camber of 0.4 and not negative -0.4 at 290mm from bolt hole center to center? How have the camber arms been holding up for the past 2 years?

Model S and X air suspension reliability

Yes, planned obsolescence is real. It was created by GM execs years ago and most other manufacturers of automobiles and other products have followed them. They can test a product like ball joints and place a specific amount of lubricant in it so that it fails around a specific time to bring in...

Model S and X air suspension reliability

I'm leaning towards engineered because when the bolt was removed there was no place in the subframe where the scored section of the bolt was needed to notch into place. Also, the torque specification could be part of the engineering to allow it to break over time and or miles of stress. The...

Model S and X air suspension reliability

The $111 was to replace the broken one and the one on the other side of the front of the subframe just in case.

Model S and X air suspension reliability

I forgot to mention Tesla wanted nearly $1,000 to replace that bolt. I got it fixed for $111.

Model S and X air suspension reliability

Yes, the front half shafts only shake if you accelerate hard. When I want to accelerate hard I set it to low in advance then move it back to medium when I'm done. A button to do this quickly that can be placed at the bottom of the MCU with your top 5 apps would be nice. The picture attached is...

Model S and X air suspension reliability

Cars 97 be aware that the suspension on the Model X is based on the Mercedes GL since Mercedes was an initial investor in Tesla. Oh how I wish they would have used the suspension from the Toyota/Lexus relationship they had. I own 2 model X, a 2017 and 2018 and they both have the inner tire wear...

    401 Session Expired

If you're using VPN software on your smartphone and the server is set to automatic it may have moved to an area outside of Tesla's operations. My PIAVPN switched to Kazakistan for some reason. When I switched back to the USA I was able to log in again.
