Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The state of Minnesota can't even get license plates and tab renewals done correctly because of their botched computer upgrade that has been in the works for 10 years. Titles are taking months to receive in some cases and they are often incorrect. No thanks. We do not have an annual...

    GM Chevy Volt

Date of Death: 2/21/19. RIP Volt Chevy Volt Production Has Officially Come To An End What a shame as the Volt really served as a gateway EV and did more than many would acknowledge to advance the mission of EV's. I owned two of them and they were the best cars that I have owned. Luckily...

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

They have historically not been too keen on disclosing data as other mainstream manufactures, hence the monthly insideeves guessing game. I would be happy if they would start there first. Problem is that it works when the data and metrics are positive, not so much when it is not.

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Not sure how many people there are out there that have been out of work all year who are ready to jump in and buy a close to $50,000 car just to "save" $7500 unless they were out of work by choice. I may be wrong though, but good thought.

Chevy Bolt - 200 mile range for $30k base price (after incentive)

I know several people who have Bolt's and this is a non-issue for them. I think some dealers have been able to adjust a bolt that was protruding more than it should have been. Unless people are buying the Bolt site unseen (doubtful) they have the opportunity to evaluate the seats for...

Looks like Elon agrees with Trump on Tariffs

There are many existing laws that the U.S. government should enforce.

Guesses on "token of appreciation" for line waiters tweeted by Elon Musk

Just remember there are some "slackers" out there who did not have the luxury of a retail store at their local shopping mall. For thousands who ordered online site unseen on day 1 had no choice as they could not drive hundreds of miles.

Stunning! Speechless at how beautiful that was. Amazing when you think what this means for humanity.....Seeing Starman on his way to Mar's was pretty surreal.

Chevy Bolt - 200 mile range for $30k base price (after incentive)

Another factor is low/uneven inventory. There is no inventory here in the Twin Cities as we are waiting for the 2018's to trickle in. The Volt is even harder to find. The dealer I bought my Volt from which used to be one of the cities highest volume dealers have no Volts or Bolts. But I...

Climate Change / Global Warming Discussion

Agreed. And it is only getting worse. The bright side is that at least in the Pacific Northwest they are using hydro, some of which if I understand correctly was going largely untapped.

German shock at car exhaust tests on humans and monkeys

Absolutely disgusting. I traded in my 2013 Passat for the Volt and have sworn off VW for ever because of their deception. This includes Audi, which had always been my dream brand.

Climate Change / Global Warming Discussion

Nice try. It was a genuine question. How is it trolling? We are not talking about a toy here...did you see the video? I think it is terrible optics. I am not the only one. You are free to disagree but please do not accuse me of trolling just because you have a different opinion. I didn't...

Climate Change / Global Warming Discussion

I am curious about what others think of Elon selling "flame throwers" from the Boring Company. My first thought after the safety factor was that it literally is not very green. Emitting GHG solely for fun? This seems rather tone deaf or short sighted. Thoughts?

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

If they were truly loosing $10,000 per car sold, then you would see this only being sold in the CARB states and it would be by definition a compliance car. Clearly it is not. They can't keep them in stock here in the Twin Cities and many dealers do not have any in stock. They sell as soon as...
