If your phone key doesnt work do this

I was told by my service center that it was a bug in the Android version of the app. Since mine worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago, I'm inclined to believe that .

Recent Model 3 sightings in DC area?

Hmm... I don't think that one was mine. Interesting.

    FalconHeavy caravan?

Something to keep in mind: if a whole bunch of you guys arrive at a supercharger at once, the charge rate will be significantly reduced.

Tesla Model 3 Blackvue 750 2ch DIY install with Constant 12V power

Theyeags, thanks for the writeup and photos. Nice job. The only thing I wonder about, though, is putting the PMP and cigarette lighter adapter directly on the metal as you did. This seems very likely to result in rattles. Perhaps put sticky-backed foam between these items and the metal/each other?

    Dashcam Install Help

By the way, don't try placing your rear camera behind the rear crossbeam. The reflections make the view rather useless.

    Model 3 dash cam install

FYI, do not place your rear camera just behind the B-pillar crossbeam. The view from there is worthless due to the reflections on the tinted rear window.

    Model 3 dash cam install

I installed my Blackvue 750S. It's pretty straightforward as long as you're not concerned about hardwiring it. If you power it from the 12V outlet in the console, it's pretty easy. If you want to hardwire it so that it's always on, it makes things a bit more complicated. You'll need to run the...

Recent Model 3 sightings in DC area?

That was mine! BTW we don't get county decals in Fairfax anymore. Also, I've since gotten a vanity plate that says "THREEEE," so if you see me again, wave!

    Buzzing/Rattling at low speed

I just got my car back from the service center. This was one of the things they looked at. They said they isolated the noise as coming from the rear seatbelt tensioners. The problem seems to be fixed after getting it back.

    Updated Owner's Manual

It's available on the MyTesla page (at least for owners, I can't check for non-owners). That version says it was published Jan 3. (last page)

    Dashcam Install Help

No interference with the lines if you place the camera carefully and check the picture while installing. I didn't like mounting it at the bottom of the EAP sensors, but you may not mind it. I don't notice the cam much now, so this location is okay with me.

Yes, it's a small tray. If you didn't get one, talk to the service center.

    Dashcam Install Help

I ran mine the same way as you did, without having seen your post. I think this is the most logical path until/unless someone finds a good hardwiring solution to the fuse panel (where is it?) or obd2 port (if it exists). Here are some pics: Model 3 Blackvue Install

    Backup camera quality

The camera quality is okay, but the lens is so fisheye that it's not super useful as a rear-view mirror replacement.

Highest production VIN in the wild

Is there any guarantee, rule, or law that says that the manufacturer has to assign VINs sequentially in order of vehicle completion? I think we might be making assumptions here about the significance of higher VIN numbers.
