Is my tire done for? Hit a massive pothole driving through Tennessee, drove home just fine but noticed a slight cut on the sidewall?

Just looked into the Discount Tire warranty. I wish I knew about this before I swapped my tires at the Tesla service center. Oh well! Thank you for that information, much appreciated. Warranty seems to be a must these days!

Is my tire done for? Hit a massive pothole driving through Tennessee, drove home just fine but noticed a slight cut on the sidewall?

Title. My inclination would be to change this tire but does anyone else have a similar experience in terms of where the tear is? Additionally, I was able to drive it all the way home (4ish hours from the pothole) on the highway with zero issues and minimal potholes throughout the way, although...

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

Basically the title. If they’re serious about adding a front bumper camera (or three in some speculation/rumor articles I’ve seen), does this make the 2023 MY an objectively bad purchase? Like many others, I rushed to get the MY delivered to me before March 31st since there was so much...

Planning a road trip from GA to NJ sometime in the early fall, anyone have any experience?

Are you saying that you rarely used EAP but used Autopilot still? Or did you prefer driving the car itself? One thing that has me paranoid is phantom braking so just wanted to see if you've dealt with that before. Great idea! I've actually never used a Supercharger yet so that's something I'll...

Planning a road trip from GA to NJ sometime in the early fall, anyone have any experience?

Hey y'all, as the title says, I'm planning a little road trip up to New Jersey sometime in the fall (ideally around mid to late October). Has anyone done this road trip, particularly from the southeast all the way up to NJ/NYC? I had a few questions as I've never taken my Tesla on a long...

Still New to Regenerative Braking, How Do I Time It At Fast Speeds (Highway Driving, Etc)?

That makes a lot of sense! Reading through some of these other posts about regenerative braking, it gave me the impression that using the brake pedal is strongly discouraged. This response was exactly what I was looking for, I wanted to know the style of driving people used with regards to...

Still New to Regenerative Braking, How Do I Time It At Fast Speeds (Highway Driving, Etc)?

I tend to use this for the most part but it does get annoying when the car gives too much distance at times and I get honked at and overtaken frequently. Better safe than sorry tho!

Still New to Regenerative Braking, How Do I Time It At Fast Speeds (Highway Driving, Etc)?

That’s what I figured. I just always hear people saying how they never use the brake pedal and it got me to thinking how it’s possible for some scenarios because there’s still some delay from when you let your foot off the accelerator and the car actually stopping, especially at higher speeds.

Still New to Regenerative Braking, How Do I Time It At Fast Speeds (Highway Driving, Etc)?

If you’re referring to how I timed it with an ICE car, I had a good idea of when to apply the brakes with that. With the Tesla, it’s hard for me to estimate how long it’ll take for the car to slow down reasonably with the regenerative braking at really high speeds such as on a highway. I’m a new...

Still New to Regenerative Braking, How Do I Time It At Fast Speeds (Highway Driving, Etc)?

Hey everyone, Basically the title is my question. How do I figure out how to time regenerative braking in fast speed scenarios like a highway? I have a good grasp of the regenerative braking/letting go of the accelerator timing at lower speeds i.e 45 MPH areas and streetlight to streetlight...

My Tesla Suddenly Disabled All Features During Drive (ABS, TACC, Stability Control, etc) and Now There's a Burning Smell? Panicking Like Crazy.

Just got my car back from the SC - here's the update: They diagnosed it and found that a rear wheel speed sensor was soft-set which they had to clean and reconnect. The regenerative braking was disabled as a result of the wheel speed signal not properly set which required more effort to slow...

My Tesla Suddenly Disabled All Features During Drive (ABS, TACC, Stability Control, etc) and Now There's a Burning Smell? Panicking Like Crazy.

I’ve read that being a common issue along with rodents chewing up the wires. I honestly forgot to check in the moment, although I guess the SC will let me know if that’s a possibility now. I’ll keep everyone updated with what they say. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious.

My Tesla Suddenly Disabled All Features During Drive (ABS, TACC, Stability Control, etc) and Now There's a Burning Smell? Panicking Like Crazy.

I firmly believe it's from the car since I noticed smoke when pulling it out and parking it on the street. The Wall Connector has hardly been used and I used some highly reviewed (and Tesla certified) electricians for the Wall Connector install so I'm hoping they did a proper job there. I can...

My Tesla Suddenly Disabled All Features During Drive (ABS, TACC, Stability Control, etc) and Now There's a Burning Smell? Panicking Like Crazy.

I managed to get ahold of the roadside assistance and they noted that there were alerts that require the car to be towed. Looks like it's being picked up tonight and dropped off at the service center. I don't think it could be my Wall Connector either as I've hardly used it and the smell was not...

My Tesla Suddenly Disabled All Features During Drive (ABS, TACC, Stability Control, etc) and Now There's a Burning Smell? Panicking Like Crazy.

I can give that a go although it seems like the smell is going away gradually. Is it possible this was just a result of having to use manual brakes the entire drive back? I noticed some clear puddles underneath my Tesla once I backed it out of my garage but I'm guessing that's just the AC...
