Grainis ltd. Hydrogen Bulgaria works since 2006 on projects for low-cost Hydrogen and Stoichiometric Oxygen-Hydrogen (OH) Gas production out of water electrolysis. We have discovered a method for OH gas production with 0.5 Wh/L, and pure Hydrogen production with 1.29 Wh/L power consumption - allowing 1 liter of water to be dissociated by only 5,4 MJ of energy. Also, the Ultrasono-modified water electrolysis method produces Modified OH (MOH, patented in 2011 as Ohmasa Gas). MOH is the perfect universal clean fuel, which can be safely COMPRESSED over 200-1000 bar and LIQUEFIED at -178deg.C/1bar. Both forms can be SAFELY STORED in CNG/LNG bottles for years, without any embrittlement and leakage problems detected, as it happens with the pure Hydrogen. MOH is safe - cannot be ignited by a spark at normal conditions. It is also DENSE - one m3 of liquid MOH contains 2.5 times more kgs of Hydrogen (167kg) than 1m3 of liquid hydrogen alone (70 kg). Finally, MOH is 100 times CHEAPER than the Hydrogen ($0.10/kg MOH vs $10/kg H). If needed, Pure Hydrogen and Oxygen can be easily extracted out of the MOH on-board, on-demand. Therefore MOH performs as the perfect - safe, compact, dense, lightweight and cheap Pure Hydrogen Storage. Also, the ultrahigh temperature (over 5,500 deg.C) of heating some UHTC materials by OH's flame, combined with the 0.5Wh/L power efficiency, allows Power-Autonomous Gas Plants to be built, for 100% clean, renewable and safe gas fuel and power production out of regular water, at a cost, close to zero.
Our goal and subject of the present Project, is to build and equip a Factory with an R&D Center attached, for mass production of OH gas-generators, OH power plants, MOH fuel refineries and OH Basalt-Fiber-Composite installations
