    Rear trunk corrosion

Great to hear you're getting a new Trunk (boot) lid, good the Tesla agreed to that. I'm keeping a regular eye on the 'second attempt' paint work that my local Tesla SC carried out to my Model 3. If it bubbles up again I will also be demanding a new trunk lid.

    Minor scratch

That looks pretty impressive. Nice job.

    Rally Armor Mud Flaps

I didn't fit Rally Armor but I did fit these Vugosson front and rear mudflaps and found them to be excellent.

Also for me the underside the front, where it meets the rear window.

Likewise I've just replied in your thread. I hope you get it sorted out to your satisfaction which to my mind (given the reoccurrence regularity) should be a new trunk lid.

Rust and Paint Bubbling on Trunk

Sorry to hear you are suffering the same ongoing situation. They really should replace your truck lid in it's entirety. This corrosion issue around the trunk inside seam must be a reasonably regular issue as I have now seen a few like examples (including yours) online. The day my car was in...

    So how is it? :)

    Rear trunk corrosion

Good to hear you're happy with the repair. Mine came back from Reading Tesla yesterday having been 'reworked', it looks like they have done also done a good job this time but time will tell.

    Rear trunk corrosion

Possibly but my theory is that it's moisture hanging around in that area (front lip of boot lid) courtesy of the rubberised drip tray with the holes in it. The holes are not actually large enough for the water drain away fully in some areas. This means water is just sat that there in a trough up...

    Rear trunk corrosion

While mine was in for the original warranty work there was another guy with a midnight silver model 3 18 months old having exactly the same work done on his.
