Looking for insight with M3P driving characteristics

Yeah I was just surprised that spending the extra energy beforehand saved that much while driving. I'm just glad the car woke up that much more from being warmed up. I don't have a reason to pay for supercharging unless I head way out of town so I think I will let the car precondition more and...

Looking for insight with M3P driving characteristics

I watched some videos on it and understand that. Was seeing people do it to get more power out of the car so I tried it just to observe the differences. Car has been faster all day even still. The big difference is the efficiency of the car in wh/mi being down in the 230s now when I barely ever...

Looking for insight with M3P driving characteristics

I did some experimenting today and did all of our driving with a supercharger loaded into navigation so the battery was warming up. Started out with the same charge for comparison but I never grabbed the USB drive to log any data. I can say though after it heating the battery the car did feel...

1/3 the cost of the prior track vehicle being a ICE vehicle motor? This is the other thing is I have been in pretty powerful vehicles my whole life. And modified superbikes. My last fun car was a 700whp modified ZR1. Most of my other cars were always over 500whp. The ZR1 was well under 3 second...

In my limited experience this is somewhat what I was told. I have been keeping the car at 60% for exactly these reasons but if its that much of a sacrifice in performance would you do it? With knowing for sure you wont be owning the car out of warranty?

Ive only been in a Tesla for going on 4 weeks now so I just dont have alot of experience with these cars which is why I came here. Every car I have gotten into the most education ive gotten on the car is time spent with it, which is very limited thus far with this car, and the forums with...

Looking for insight with M3P driving characteristics

If we aren't going anywhere and are just doing our day to day driving I only charge the car to 60%. I also only charge it at night when its $.07 a kw. We got by on a Chevy Volt with around 60 miles of charge for years and never ran out in our day to day driving. I got into EVs with a more budget...

Battery temp I have no idea but charge was more in the 70s on the LR and I did supercharge it twice since it was free for me to do so. Otherwise outdoor temps have been the same. Honestly I preferred getting a performance because I sold my Corvette earlier this year and figured extra...

I appreciate all the help with the graphs and the interpretation of the data. Ive had a few cars tuned and am familiar with logging and looking at data in spreadsheets in a similar manner but never with an EV. Pretty cool that you can get the data from the car without a tuning module. If the...

So this should be good news but doesn't explain why the power delivery of the loaner LR i had was instant and this car I have to push the pedal more for the power delivery.

If i'm doing this right and looking at milliseconds vs speed the car moves at 14798 and touches 60 at 18597 which would equate to 3.8 almost exactly. Let me...

Those runs also took 4% battery to do im not sure if thats normal. Also kind of odd after doing those runs my wh/mi dropped to 270 and I have never seen it that low

I just did 2 runs up to 100 with a 50% battery and 40F temperature outside dry conditions. I have to get home to my laptop to upload the file though. I can say once you get to the 100mph area the car feels pretty sluggish like its working really hard to keep going
