Winter Road Trip: SoCal to Utah

Thanks for your post! Looks like a great trip to an area that I love. I am encouraged by your good experience with cold temps and snow!

Anyone else dislike the new UI?

For the first time I can say that I hate a Tesla update. I cannot see any reason for making the visualization area larger which reduces the map size and the image size for the back-up camera. The speed is now smaller and it is very difficult to see what "gear" the car is in; P, N, R. The font is...

Software update 2020.48.26.x update, font size problems

Seems like many of us are in the same situation. My wife is always asking: "What time is it?" and "What is the temperature." She is also over 65 and can't see this information because it is too small on the display. There is plenty of room to increase the font size!

Software update 2020.48.26.x update, font size problems

I have complained and tweeted about the need to be able to increase the font size, so far without any luck or response. Those designing the user interface are likely younger and likely have much better vision than older Tesla drivers, like myself. My guess is that at some point Elon will have a...

Blog Tesla Banks $5 Billion During Stock Surge

Let's see.... Giga Berlin = $4.4 billion, Giga Texas = $5 billion. A billion her and a billion there and I can see how it is easy to go through money fast!

    I get it now.....

GREAT IDEA! Do you know if they rotate tires?

    I get it now.....

Yes, to one of the comments above. Red is the "best" color. Have had my Model 3 for 16 months. Total service cost $42. $30 for rotate and balance and two bottles of windshield washer fluid for $12. My car was (is) perfection. Trim, paint, body panel alignment perfect. Not a single quality issue...

    2019.40.50 Release Notes

Laughing! Eyesight 20-20 at over 5' I wear glasses for reading and using a computer. I have joked that in a few years, as Elon Musk's close-up vision declines, he will probably realize that the text on a Tesla screen is just a little too small to be read easily. Once that happens there will be...

    2019.40.50 Release Notes

Anxious to get this update. We keep my wife's handicap placard in the glove box and being able to open it by voice will be great! Also setting the temperature. We have Amazon's Echo Auto and use it's voice commands extensively: "Alexa, what time is it?" because the time on the display is too small!

Cannot clean Model 3 windows for the life of me.

A neighbor who works at Boeing recommend a Norwex microfiber window polishing cloth. She said it is what Boeing uses to clean 787 windshields. Bought one from Amazon and confirm that it works great. For the inside i only use water. For the outside i use it with glass cleaner.

MASTER THREAD: 2019.36.2.1 - new HOLD mode and other features

Our Model 3 just keeps getting better and better! Love the new Hold feature. Drove around after the "36" update and only had to use the break peddle once. (Wonder if break pads will ever need replacement?)
