Seems, I may have been mistaken! Tesla did take the money couple days before I took delivery on September 2 when I signed all papers.

August 28 pick up, my bank is a direct lender they have separate account they wire funds to(wired August 25). Which is different from 3rd party lenders which they have a separate account they can wire funds to! Tesla claims they didn’t see the money, since it’s weekend I couldn’t get in...

Seems if you use plaid they don’t charge until you sign and car is yours! I’m currently going through an issue where Tesla hasn’t verify? The wire transfer that my bank sent last August 25 and today is August 31.

I’m going through exact issue, my loan wired to Tesla account last Wednesday 25, could not leave with Model 3LR Saturday 28, when we found out pending Status. It’s now Tuesday 31 morning. Delivery date got move again to Sept 1. Sigh

Congratulations! I just received my first MVPA yesterday and came upon final payment tab. I thought I needed to fill out for the delivery date. But when I saw the pay button and todays date as payment. I clicked x to close the form. Search and saw posts on this forum, I immediately sign up.

This has been very helpful. I added bank info then saw that click here to pay! I was like holdup(I hit the x button to close), thought they just wanted to hold my bank information for delivery day process.
