    Well, that’s lovely…

I took mine to Discount Tire and they plugged it for free even though my Tesla had OEM tires not bought from them. I was fully expecting to be charged. I guess I did buy a set of tires from them last year for my wife's car. They will advise you of any cost beforehand so you have nothing to lose.

    2024 MY "Price Adjustment" Math

I bought mine on the last day of Q1 and it had $7100 worth of Tesla discounts plus of course the Federal Rebate of $7500. It was manufactured in Austin in March of 2024. In terms of future discounts, I have seen prices fluctuate both ways with Tesla. Ends of quarters are a favorite time for...

Is this normal for Park Assist?

I personally think 1 foot from a barrier is a good distance. How did it park in relation to the entire spot? Was it pretty much centered, front, back, left and right? We all have our preferences, but I prefer to be centered all around particularly, in parking lots, to lessen the overall...

    Punctured tire/question

I went to Discount Tire, fully expecting to be charged for the screw in my tire, but they repaired it for free even though it was an OEM tire not purchased from them. Of course this assumes it is repairable and has no damage to the sidewall.

Just picked it up on Easter Sunday. Gotta love those end of quarter discounts.

Anyone have an Ultra Red Model Y?

Here is my new Tesla MYLR in Ultra Red. I like the color and have received several unsolicited positive comments on it. It was an end of Q1 incentive deal that I couldn't pass up.

FSD 12.3.3 first drive - safe, super boring

I agree with most all of the critiques posted thus far. I would like to add that the hesitancy to go, unless all is clear at an intersection, or very slow starts from a stop can be mitigated by pressing the accelerator somewhat and it will remain in FSD mode. That behavior has made it much...

Seriously OT: Lets talk Coffee (not cars and coffee, just coffee)

My coffee habit needs and wants. 2 cups a day, max. Quick, 2 minutes or less. Little to no maintenance. Philips Senseo single cup brewer which uses discs which are compostable, no plastic waste. I use Coffee House Express and order Baronet Sumatra Coffee Pods - 18ct. I have no financial...

    Self parking ?

How Park Assist Works Model Y is designed to detect the presence of objects. When driving slowly (for example, when parking), the vehicle alerts you if an object is detected in close proximity of your Model Y. The vehicle alerts you when objects are detected in front of Model Y when you are in...

    Auto park/summon

I have 2024.3.10 on a '24 MYLR and it works in marked spaces. I haven't tried it on the side of a roadway yet. I will try to remember to update once I have. You stop near where you want to park and then it highlights its preferred spot in blue (I think you can choose other grey ones though)...

Free Supercharging trip * McAllen TX to Austin TX

How many Supercharger miles did you use for this trip? How does that compare to odometer miles? I ask because I got some free miles that I will be using for a road trip in a couple of months. Thanks.

Locked out of my Tesla account - Multi Factor Authorisation.

That's the error message I got when I tried to type it in, pasting didn't work either. I'm wondering if I used a different authenticator to set it up. I must have used one for MFA, right? Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get the backup codes, I believe. I appreciate your assistance.
