Sorry about that. How frustrating!!

Final update (hopefully) : was assigned a new VIN and delivery was pushed out a week. Apparently the original car was possibly damaged during transport from the factory.

Update: received this message from Tesla : “Your vehicle has not passed inspections and is not ready to go out today.” No other details and no updated ETA. The generic and nonchalant responses from the Tesla delivery managers are definitely the worst part about this experience.

Received my VIN this morning as well - 96xxx. The delivery appointment still shows 2am earlier this morning, so I’m assuming I’ll get a call/text to reschedule.

How are folks getting their VIN? Is it over text or email or just on the Tesla account? I have a delivery scheduled for 2am on 12/26, but no VIN yet which is surprising.
