    Nope, I got my own back the very next day. Although it's back in today to have a part that was on backorder installed. Got another MX (90D) as a loaner again. Both loaners were AP1 BTW. I was also told that they had a selection of MS vehicles today. Igor

    Hmmm... In that case 2-2-2-4 Al SER would be really cheap. But doesn't the HPWC manual say to use "only copper conductors" (page 7)? Or would that apply only after the disconnect switch?

    Great point! Thanks! In that case it would make sense to go THHN and conduit all the way. Another question: does the placement of the switch relative to the wall connector matter? Any difference if it's under the wall connector or off to the side? Thanks

    You are correct, of course, I was just trying to avoid running conduit at all, but if there's no other viable cable at a reasonable cost, I'll have to do the conduit. Thanks for the feedback

    Hi All, I'm considering doing the installation of the HPWC myself. This is what I have: 1. The Main (200A) and the HPWC (driveway) are on the opposite sides of the house. 2. There is a staight shot from the Main to the HPWC through crawl space, about 35'. I can even go straight through the wall...
