I honestly believe that turning the power off decreases battery drain for whatever reason especially in cold weather (Chicago). I've now tried it multiple times (starting with the charging issues I was having) and it really does appear to maintain charge significantly better. Just my 2c.

This is exactly what happened with my charging following the 4.3 update. FWIW, they swapped out my UMC and now my car is charging fine tonight (without the 4.3 revision). They're supposed to push the revision to me tomorrow. Service center thought it might be a combo of both malfunctioning...

1400 miles, 330 Wh/mile, 60 kWh battery. I'm pretty happy with the average given my commute (lots of highway miles) and location (Chicago) - it's been cold and very snowy. BTW I rarely turn on the heat (not even seat warmers). Efficiency over comfort I say.
