I went from a bmw M4 to the performance model y. I think the ride is smoother even on the bigger rims and quieter inside too. Keep in mind the Bmw was stiff already and rode harsh so the improvement is compared to that. I would have regretted not getting the faster option and have floored it...

Dropped the car off at tesla service center today and was given a loaner. I put blue painters tape on everything I want addressed and the service guy took notes and didn't push back at all. Now fingers crossed that the guy fixing it cares more about quality than the folks who built it.

I took touchless delivery in the rain. Noticed this stuff once it was in the garage. I sent pics within hours of delivery so I hope they make it right.

I tried back to black restorer and some scrubbing. No change its paint stuck in the dimples in the plastic after someone wiped off a drip/spill.

The problem I have is I like the car alot. If they dont fix my concerns I can't return it and get one that's right without waiting a year to reorder. The thing is fun to drive, looks good, and fits my dog. Something the M4 did not do well.

The thing is all they had to do was look to find these issues. It's not necessarily manufacturing issues they will figure out but simply not performing basic quality control. Not sure why they would start to care about quality after 25k units are made poorly.

As I told my wife these aren't real breakers but they are sad makers. I was pretty excited for this car and it sucks to have it fall short. The tech and driving experience are excellent. I truly think it compares with my m4 on corner grip and can put the power down without over/understeer. It...

Yes service set for thursday so I will see how it goes. This was just my initial reaction to inspecting the car when I got home after delivery. I have 5 vehicles currently and this is by far the worst initial quality
