Check your app again… mine now shows I owe $7,500 whereas it was $0 earlier today. SA said they are still awaiting direct guidance regarding honoring the credits for the customers affected by carrier delays. Maybe this is a temporary measure but it does not give me a good feeling.

My delivery just got bumped from 12/31 to 1/5. Apparently a bunch of Model Y’s are delayed on a train in transit from Austin to Chicago. I asked about the $7,500 discount and the 10K supercharger miles. The SA said they have escalated this question to corporate and are waiting to hear back...

What was your process for getting a HOLD? I’m in a similar boat. Originally delivery window was Jan. 2023 to April 2023 and I just got an updated EDD this morning for late November. Just not sure what the right decision is.

I agree with this theory. I think it’s same reason that December 2022 is listed on the Model Y order page today. Tesla wants the list of possible December deliveries to be as long as possible. I ordered 7/3 and my delivery also has a December EDD.
