How can we get a Supercharger in Palatka, FL (Putnam County)?

They're building the Wawa now. So far... no sign of Tesla superchargers. I pray they put some there. My Model S 60 has a degrading battery pack and now my range is less than 150 miles per full charge. The range anxiety visiting my mother-in-law is getting serious at this point.

App can’t wake car from sleep

Hmmm, does your app access other features of the car? Also, some Tesla apps have a setting that prevents them pinging the car while it's sleeping. Are you using the Tesla App itself and/or have you tried another access app like Teslascope, Tessie, TezLab, or Teslafi?

Nav and IC dead after car sits overnight, sometimes (early 2016 with atom MCU)

As in "upgraded", did you have the entire MCU replaced with MCU2? or, did you have the eMMC chip replaced (like most of us did back in 2021, from 8 GB to 64 GB)? If your IC and MCU2 are having issues, you should let your Tesla Service Center know. When I had my MCU1 (2014 Model S 60) replaced...

Jacksonville, FL: Tesla to build at Atlantic North in East Arlington

Wow! This looks nice! :) I have to have my HV battery pack replaced, so I'll get to visit this location.

    Dual blank/black screens

Hmmm... odd, it sounds like an MCU issue, but you upgraded to MCU2. I was seeing errors like this all the time as my MCU1 aged. I got the free eMMC chip upgrade (8 GB to 64 GB), but about a year or so later, I started seeing issues again. So, I upgraded my MCU1 to MCU2 back in April 2023 and I...

Does upgrading from MCU1 to MCU2 require additional programming?

Greetings, fellow Teslan! There's quite a bit of file/data transfer from your original MCU1 to the new MCU2 and there are MCU2 firmware updates they do too. They also have to change the connectors for the wires. It took the technician about 3 hours to do my upgrade, so I got to watch them do...

    Homelink disappearing / GPS freezing

Congratulations on the new car! What year is the car? If it's after 2017, you have MCU2. Mine is a 2014 Model S, so I had to upgrade from MCU1 to MCU2. Once I did, a lot of the bugs and quirkiness I experienced went away. It's weird though that the entire icon is disappearing. I've seen it...

    Homelink disappearing / GPS freezing

Yes, very odd. What software update do you have and do you have MCU1 or MCU2?

    2018 Model S - App features

Yes, the current Tesla App will work for all versions of Model S. Your car will automatically adapt to the current app. I have a 2014 Model S with no autopilot, so "Summon" is not an option on my app.

    Edit Navigation Favorites

Yes, I did update one of my favorites names once. From what I remember, I selected it, un-favorited it, and then re-favorited with the new name.

    Model S 85 2015 – FREE SUPERCHARGING - $34,950 - PRICED TO SELL

Congratulations! I noticed you had bucket seats and a 'cup holder / center armrest' for the backseat! I didn't know that was ever an option! Did you have that custom installed or was that a special option 'back in the day'? - James

Is it possible to find a preowned Model S with lifetime free connectivity?

I bought my 2014 Model S 60 pre-owned in May 2021 and it has "Free Premium Connectivity". I had to eventually upgrade my MCU to MCU2 to use it once 3G LTE went away, but if you do find a pre-owned Model S with it, it's great to have. Just keep in mind you may have to upgrade your MCU ($1,800...

Black dots on top of instrument cluster for Model S

Hmmm... it looks almost like a gradient transition. Have you tried using light mode, vs dark mode to see if there is a difference?
