Very true I have seen 2018 75d's for around 56-57k. With less miles and a year more on the warranty it just makes sense to pay the extra 1-2k.

That's crazy. Having no Paperwork, and no Plates I would be very vigilant of any cops. Lucky that the cop gave you a written warning. They have the right to impound your car if they deem it suspicious enough. This also makes me think that any criminal can have a spoofed proof of purchase on...
