    Model 3 totaled! please advise

While most insurance policies are similar, they are all different - especially when it comes to first party coverage. My policy offers an additional 20% on any total loss settlement. I pay a little extra to have that endorsement on my policy. If I didn't pay for it, I wouldn't receive it. Most...

    Model 3 totaled! please advise

Just know that when they provide you with a valuation, they have to show you the comps used to reach that value. I'd highly recommend looking at each of the comps to ensure they are true comps. The good thing about Tesla's is that they are all relatively similar with only a few differences that...

    OFFICIAL BUTTON WATCH

It is the case in the US. I also highly doubt that in Canada, a person slamming on their brakes to avoid a deer (or anything for that matter) would be at fault if someone was following too closely and hit them from behind. There was zero negligence on the person who got hit.

    Must have Upgrades/Accessories

Can confirm! The place I took my car for full ceramic coating also did the full interior. About a week later my wife spilled a quarter of her travel mug of water on her seat. It just pooled right up for easy cleanup!

    California Front License Plate

I have SnapPlate as well. It works well. Though I rarely actually have it on... it works when I do put it on. At least during this whole CoronaVirus thing, I know cops aren't going to be pulling people over for small things like no front plate. So we'll see if that changes once things get back...

Got in accident and at-fault insurance company denies claim

Not if you were pushed by another car. If you are the sole reason why your car hit another in the rear, then yes - you're at fault. But if someone hits you first and pushes you into that car, you are not the negligent party. If you're at a complete stop and a semi bulldozes into the back of you...

    Worth Filing Police Report?

Not at all. I don't actually handle claims directly any more, but I manage teams that do. I started my insurance career as an insurance adjuster, so I know what they go through. To be completely honest, claim adjusting is often extremely busy. During "busy times", many adjusters have much more...

Tinting Rear Window -- Half or Full?

Not the best photos, the reflection was really bad. But you can see from the interior shot how light it still appears to be, so I added the exterior photo to show you how dark it actually is on the outside.

    Anybody bought from Taptes?

I bought their wireless charger on Amazon. Stopped working after less than a week. I called Amazon originally and they put me in contact with Taptes directly (via Amazon communcations), and they were very responsive via email. So responsive that if I didn't respond to their email for 8 hours...

Tinting Rear Window -- Half or Full?

I agree with full. I would have done full regardless, but a big part of my reasoning of doing it was due to my son. He's rear-facing in a car seat and is entirely exposed to that back window - so the darker I can get it for him, the better. I went 18%, so the "double tinted" portion is pretty...

Got in accident and at-fault insurance company denies claim

Man, you sure know a lot. You're so wrong on so many of your points. Insurance companies absolutely do not operate on that model - not the big ones anyway. Their model is to pay what they owe. No more, no less. Most of the big insurance companies are mutual companies, meaning their...

Got in accident and at-fault insurance company denies claim

To be honest, an attorney can't help you much with DV other than giving you guidance and pointing you in the right direction. They can't represent you in small claims unless you're filing a very large DV claims that exceeds the small claims threshold. Oregon is definitely different when it...

    Worth Filing Police Report?

I work in insurance, specifically auto insurance. Very familiar with how it works. Very true, California does not allow insurers to increase rates for a single not at fault loss. However, if you have 1 or 2 not at fault losses and then 1 or 2 at fault, they absolutely could raise your rates...

Hows night visibility with 20% tint all around?

I’ve got 18% all around including entire back glass and it’s great. It definitely is a lot darker at night, but not to the point where you can’t see by any means.
