Do you all just get it aligned at Tesla or can we take the X some place else?

Where would we actually screw the tow hook into? Normally the vehicles have this square on the front bumper you pop out... the X does not... I bought a used X from Tesla and it is missing everything that was loose so of course the tow hook is also missing. Not sure if I should bother getting...

So what is the deal with removing the middle seat in the 7 seater? I can't tell from all these posts. Is it just some screws? I know there was some talk of error messages but that seems like if you remove all the seats... just want to remove the middle seat. Thanks! Jim

I guess I did misread something. Perhaps I got confused with Saab's estimated return to profitability goals by mistake. I've been watching them very closely.... (I own 2). Well hopefully I'll have a Model S reserved in about 6 months. Cheers Jim

How do you figure that? I thought they said 100,000 cars by 2012... there won't be 100,000 reservations by then... Did I misread something?

The need to finalize a place. It's taking too long and everyone is talking about vaporware, or vaporcar in this case. It shouldn't take this long. If they don't like either location there are lots of empty buildings all over the country, or world for that matter. Time to fish or cut bait!

on the one hand, I'd like to reserve one, but on the other hand I think I might want to be number 10,000. That way they will have probably worked all the "kinks" out of such a new vehicle. If they are estimating production of 20,000 by 2013 then I would assume they will have 10k by the end...
