Who wants in on a class action lawsuit? ;-)

My current plan is to keep driving it and keep an eye on the range. I still have about 2 1/2 years left under warranty so I can just play the waiting game. If it continues to go down, then I'll bring it back to Tesla and see if they finally agree the battery isn't operating normally.

It sounds like we're in pretty similar situations.

Who wants in on a class action lawsuit? ;-)

The bigger degradation mostly happened relatively early in the car's life but still continues to slip. I've spoken with Tesla about it a number of times and each time they say it's not the battery. That is why I've tried on and off to do the "tricks" to see if it was just spoofing the range...

Who wants in on a class action lawsuit? ;-)

I have a Jan '14 build MS60 that I bought new on 2/14. The car currently has about 50k miles. I rarely supercharge (few times per year), I rarely charge over 90%, and I rarely take it below 20%. I charge most nights at home on a 240v at 40 amp to either 80% or 90%. My charge level has...

    Supercharger - Champaign, IL

I used the SC on Sunday after dropping off my son. I was the only car there when I started charging but one other car came and went while I was plugged in. Having an SC there saved me having to route through Bloomington on my trip from West Chicago to Champaign. Well done Tesla!

Automotive News Article: Tesla's trump card: Used (Tesla) cars

The thing is, Tesla is not demand constrained at this point in time. Furthermore, they haven't even advertised the car so it doesn't really make any economic sense to lower the price. Tesla will be able to service the buyers that don't have as much to invest when they come out with the Model 3.

    60kWh Battery and Superchargers

I did my charging experiments on days with temps between 60 - 70 degrees after driving the car about 15 minutes pre-charge. I would think that would bring the battery to a pretty nice place (not too hot, not too cold, just riiiiiiight!). My frustration is that I see people with pictures/videos...

    60kWh Battery and Superchargers

Mark, how do you know if the SC is a 90Kw or a 120Kw supercharger?

    60kWh Battery and Superchargers

Fellow 60 owners, I could really use your help. I'm having a "spirited discussion" with Tesla service about the appropriate rate of charging for my car on superchargers. I'm thinking that my car isn't charging fast enough but someone from "the engineering group" in California is saying that he...

Tesla Lemon Model S owner Rebuttal to Tesla's Blog Post

There is no wondering about it. They were sent snail mail and spaced out so Tesla would have no time to develop a response. All part of the plan.

Tesla Lemon Model S owner Rebuttal to Tesla's Blog Post

This post from the Volt forum is quite telling about our Dr. (especially the "really out of the blue volatility" comment) http://gm-volt.com/forum/showthread.php?17597-montgom626-Banned-Again

Tesla Lemon Model S owner Rebuttal to Tesla's Blog Post

What I find interesting is that montgom626 deleted the majority of his past posts on the board. I'm assuming that he and his "king of the lemon law" lawyer didn't want his own posting being used against him in this case. I hope that people at TMC have logs of these posting that Tesla can use...

Tesla sued under Wisconsin Lemon Law

Voker, I agree the presumption of innocence must be kept. The question however, is who is presumed to be innocent, Tesla or Montgomery?

    Firmware 5.9

Sluggish maps were the least of my issues. I had the central computer reboot at least 6 times in a one week span after getting 5.9. I'm pretty sure the issue revolved around some problem with the NAV software though. I called the SC and he fixed the problem OTA. About 3 days later (Saturday...

    Center display spontaneously reboots?

ecfan, I'm with you. I think this is a good thing. Mayhem, they asked if it was OK to access my car and I gave them permission. They didn't do anything to my car that I didn't ask them to do. Could this be used for evil instead of good - maybe, but I tend not to lean too much toward the...
