    Tesla Tampa, FL Service

They keep spots open for catastrophic issues. So if you have an issue that’s as bad as not being able to drive or charge, they’ll get you in quick. If you’re trying to open for something less catastrophic such as noise issues, tires, etc, then it looks like TPA and STP are first week in May...

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

Was hoping for more than 510hp. Well, as long as the motor holds torque above 60mph, I'll be happy.

Consistently charging over limit on my TWC?

Yep, usually temperature fluctuations. When you finish charging the battery is warmer and then when you get back in the car several hours later, it's cooler. BMS (battery management system) estimation is more of an art than calculated science (though that's all it really is).

    Lost “Recent” Dashcam Footage

Did you save the footage by pressing the dash cam icon (or honking the horn if set)? - If you did, it will be inside the /TESLACAM/SavedClips directory and saved until no more room is available and even then only the oldest are purged. - If you didn't, the last hour of driving is stored in the...

    Trade-in inspection

My two cents... There's not much you can do if on the day of pick-up if they walk outside and do a manual inspection. However, that wasn't the case in my scenario and many many others. They just haven't manually inspected trade-in most scenarios I've read. You can't do much of anything to...

    Ventilated seats Highland

Living in Florida, I can say the F150 seats blows cold air through the seats you can really feel the cooler temperature. Awesome. Wish Tesla adopted this. They have cold air vents in the center console they could easily have pulled from. Wonder if this is something could be retrofitted from...

Tesla not connecting to app after disconnected from 12V battery

Try connecting your car to wifi and try again after about 3 minutes after connection.. If you can connect over wifi, that points to an issue with the eSIM and/or mobile network.

No contact, no resolution. I don't know what to do

What does the 30 day rejection legal language say (as opposed to the 14 day return)? 3/13 to 4/3 is greater than 14 days, AND you put more than 3000 miles on it. Those policies are there to prevent people from ordering cars and using them like a no charge rental asking for a refund. I know...

No contact, no resolution. I don't know what to do

How many kms did you put on the car in the 14 days return window?

    Model 3 Highland Performance/Ludicrous Spotted

Very excited. I’ll wait for the initial price hike to inevitably come down, hopefully in time for the December end of quarter.

Bolts sticking into rear wheel wells

If they are right in front of the rear tire, I believe they’re just studs to hold the felt inner fender liner in place. I noted these missing back on my 2019 M3 back when I purchased it and I bought little snaps for them.

Is buying a 2013 Tesla S Performance with 225,000 miles worth buying at $11,000 and the possible issues?

Honestly, with any beater car, you have to consider repair pricing into the equation. With EVs, getting a repair that costs as much as the beater car is a very real possibility which is opposite beater car mentality.

Refreshed M3 battery lost 50% charge in a week?

Did your high voltage battery go from 55 to zero? Or did just your 12v die?

    Roof bike rack accident :-(

Wow, this is why insurance rates are skyrocketing. I'm not an adjuster, but I can't see your A-Pillar as structurally compromised from the photos (from carbon fiber impact?). If it is, I get it for safety concerns. But if it's not....that's just nuts to total this vehicle because of glass...

Should Tesla pay towing for a warranty battery replacement?

Get the warranty doc for the year of your car. This example shows will cover the first 500 miles: " For vehicle malfunctions due to warrantable issues, transportation services, provided by Roadside Assistance, are covered by Tesla for the first 500 miles (800 km) to the nearest Tesla Service...
