    Manufacturers will not be happy with having to take full responsibility and liability for any collisions. The KBA are continuing to investigate Autopilot and they said that more changes will need to be made to Autopilot to ensure it's compliant otherwise Autopilot will be disabled on all cars...

    I speak regularly with a lot of people on the Tesla hardware & software side of things. I think it first got major attention when @tesla_adri tweeted about it and Elon replied to someone who retweeted.

    Yeah it only says that because of the 12V battery issues that was killing the 12V battery in the cars - as far as I understand it, the HV batteries weren't being calibrated correctly out of the factory and have a calibration issue which would cause it to stop charging the 12V and would kill it.
