I’ve got a 2018 M3 LR RWD with FSD and 15k miles and Tesla offered $44.5k trade in for it. Carvana is offering $49.2k, still waiting on a vroom offer. Paid about 60k total between around 55k for the car and then 5k for AP/FSD during the 2019 half off sale. Looking at getting a 7 seat MY early...

Any updates? I saw the label created in my ups account, but looks like it hasn't gone out yet. I imagine there will be a lot of us out of town and traveling around Christmas, so I'm hoping it comes this week.

Seems weird that the spec sheet wouldn't give the max charging rate, but I hope it can charge at 48A in case I decide on HPWC instead of using the UMC or my Juicebox 40A that I have right now for my Leaf.

You won't need to see out the windshield as the car will be driving itself. As long as the cameras and sensors can see you will be fine.

Drain it completely for the weight savings and range gain, obviously. Plus rip out and throw away anything involved with wiper fluid, including tank, tubing, etc. Anyone who doesn't isn't serious about EVs.

I'd be okay with that. I've got plenty of extra hex keys from previous Ikea purchases laying around. I mean, they've gotta cut corners somewhere to make a $35k car, right? I just hope there aren't any cam lock nuts involved. I hate those damn things.

Used Model S can be found in that price range, and you will probably be able to get one with AP in the near future I bet. If I could get a used AP Model S for under 45k, that would be extremely compelling to me.

I would keep my 2013 Leaf until something else more appealing came along. Not interested in the Bolt, or the updated Leaf as it looks about the same as the current gen. I guess maybe something from BMW or Audi once they have a decent long range EV (and not the hideous i3).

When people say vinyl they generally mean PVC and it is pretty nasty stuff, especially when you put all the additives in it to keep it from having issues like cracking. Softex is a completely different polymer, made from polyurethanes as you said. Just because something else is also a synthetic...

So what do you do next Friday though when there are 0 days left? No wine left for reveal day? Is that when you pull out the beer/liquor/champagne?
