Same VIN.

Savannah, GA. It was a new delivery, so it came out of the factory straight.

So I got my car today. The story had a happy ending. No other issues, and the light strip is dead straight. The month of self driving is nice. My girl basically chauffeured me home and all I had to do was give her a poke in the wheel every once in awhile. ;)

It's 150 miles away because I live in a state that outlaws direct OEM selling of cars, and it's already been two weeks. I pick it up tomorrow (in theory).

My post was for people who get the "It's in spec" line when they bring up a misaligned lights, to give them a little ammo to fire back with as an informed customer. If that doesn't apply to you, or you get nothing of value from it, I'm not sure what to tell you other than "Ok."

There shouldn't be a reason to tear into the car for something like the light strip. It's a door alignment issue. The only thing bothering me right now is that I had to wait two weeks to take delivery on a car that I've already made a down payment on and had insured because of a separate but...

If you have to. There is no excuse for this to be waved off as an acceptable manufacturing variable. If you're financing, get the financing company involved. After all, it's their car until you pay it off. But the most effective time to do it is at delivery. Refuse delivery until it's fixed.

I saw another earlier video about the Pebble Flow and I believe you can run a line to the towing vehicle to share the battery. Plus it has its own drive wheels. I'm sure there's a reduction in range compared to a vehicle not towing anything, but I don't think it's down to 100-150 miles.

Savannah, GA is my closest dealer location. If I went to Charlotte, it would have been twice the distance. Tesla can't do direct sales in South Carolina due to the strong car dealership lobby here. There are laws on the books prohibiting OEM sales. Good ol' boy network in play.
