Here is the quote for the replacement HEPA filter. Any body got a number to compare to?

Does anyone else feel it ironic or odd that the area they purposefully excluded the diverter at the top near the windshield is at the air intake? If purposeful, why? As an engineering I am baffled. “More air” would be a first year response.

Parts catalog now shows a separate HEPA filter OTC part number available but service, so far, will inly quote the assembly ($284).

Is it worth replacing the HEPA before installing the sock and dam? Is the filter actually bad?

So after the tighter tolerance half shaft replacement, the vibration went away but came back after an additional service? I was reading all of the history of you posts but missed the moment when the vibration returned.

Please do. I hope Tesla has recognized this as a defect and thus warranty work.

One to add or add to.... Insufficient or wear on the front drive motor mount due to "too much reliance on the front motor...". I saw a video demonstrating this a while back but forgot to bring it forward in the post.

What do you know to be causing the issue? I haven't heard anyone else having vibration at 80 mph. This could be a very dangerous issue... Most are around 40-50mph.

In my particular case it isn't tire wear either but this is just a typical cause of vibration in all cars.

Three potential causes: 1) half shaft wear - you would feel vibration across a wide range of speed/acceleration 2) software - too much reliance on front motor at certain speeds. Can be diagnosed in track mode by adjusting distribution between front and rear drives. Software tuning can fix...

Are they still charging for the hepa filter assembly or has this become warranty work?

They ain't making this easy..... I assume the thermistor for the evaporator coil is on the down flow side of the coil as is the drain tube (which is already a pretty impossible reach without a lift) but both still with some merit(?).... Somebody suggested earlier to turn the fan on "high" and...

This is still probably the best answer so far.....
