Congrats! You got a killer deal! I paid more that 2x for a similar car two years ago and I still love it! I WILL upgrade to a Plaid someday. Regarding the sound system, Check out the NVX subwoofer kit on Amazon. It made a world of difference to my base sound system.

Yeah, I ran a wire through the liftgate through an existing hole and tapped into one of the reverse lights. I think...i can't remember. I used this license plate light bar found on amazon. It's pretty bright! I need to rig up some kind of glare shield because it's so bright that it messes...

The used Plaid prices are so tempting! But that also means that the prices that we can sell our P100D's for will also be lower. I would like to wait until used Plaid's w/ "track mode" enabled hit the market.

I have the same car as you do, '17 P100D, and my avg. wh/m is similar ~ 415-425. My wife's '22 MYLR gets ~ 300 wh/m. Our older cars are just less effficient than the newer Teslas.

The raven versions have adaptive suspension. Although, I have read mixed reviews about it.

I have a 17 model s p100dl and the wife has a 22 MYLR. I love my MS w/ Ludicrous mode, but 80k miles is a lot. I would go with the new MY.

Maybe you could find someone the forum in your area to give a ride in their plaid.
