I mounted it above the screen. I ran the wire along the side of the center console then used the cigarette lighter to lower it. The uniden still uses the old phone cord plug looking thing. I think it’s called RJ11. I’m gonna look into converting the power supply to usb c. Thanks you.

I have not looked into that. I used the original cigarette lighter cord and even purchased a aftermarket cord and it still gives me the same voltage

i installed my uniden R3 on my model y last month. The volts showing on the radar is 15.4. When I run the same radar in my other cars, it says 13.5-14.4 volts. The radar works great in my non Tesla cars but when I put it model y, it doesn’t detect KA bands at all. Could it be that my model y is...
