I live in an apartment complex and the AOAO refuses to allow me to pay for and install a Tesla charger. They say “we’re not ready for electric cars!” Go figure.

I have the same on my M3! Started with my last computer update I think. I live on Kauai and the closest Tesla charger is 100 miles away around Honolulu. No Tesla charger on this island. As my battery depletes, the message comes up more and more frequently! Help!! Super distracting.

I’ve gone through 3 adapters. The last was melted even though I reduced it to 25 amps. I’m going to 20 amps now. Sad we can’t have better technology for charging.

I agree it is sad. I was really attracted to what I saw as a Hero for our planet. In my eyes he has fallen hard and I’m sad for him and our planet.

I’m on my third adapter and only have charged at 32A. Clearly not low enough. Tesla refused to replace any adapter. Now I keep a spare. I have 3,000 miles on my 3 that I received in October 2022. Not happy with this weak link.

Where to request 3 charging stations for our island of Kauai? If we had 2 charging units in 3 locations (north, east, and south) our island would be so Tesla friendly.
