My friend's 2021 plaid is also dim like mine (2023)and I see others on the road the same way. I'm comparing to the older gens which are a lot brighter than 2021+.
Any reasons why the 2021+ model S have very dim DRL? Can barely see them in the California sun. Any tricks to make them brighter besides suggesting it to Tesla?
So I was able to have them change my order to matte and this is what they shipped me. The left side is all warped. I seriously hope they don't all ship like that because I've seen Ebay and Amazon CF spoiler that have better quality.
I just found out that Tesla uses CF overlay over plastic (not sure if it's even CF). This whole time I thought it was real weaved CF. My coworker's Model 3's spoiler started peeling. He took it to Tesla and they replaced it.
Here's mine. LR Model S. Picked it up in April. Should've waited a bit longer. I could've gotten a Plaid in ultra red for almost the same price as my LR. 😩
Have you rebooted your system? I've noticed a couple times that not all my speakers were working. There were no highs or bass. After the reboot all the speakers came up and the sound was a lot better.
I was thinking the same. Only difference between the LR and Plaid are the carbon fiber bits and third motor. Some Plaids come with red calipers, some others dont, but everything else should be the same.
New member here as well and also have the same questions. I noticed that the Model S subwoofer is mediocre. Is there a replacement sub I can replace the stock with that doesn't need an amp installed? I'd like to have more crisp bass. I'd also like to replace the rear speakers and tweets as well.
