Ah interesting. Thank you. I have had the roof for one year now and this has been a symptom the whole time. They do use Delta equipment and I think the rapid shutdown devices are in the j boxes. I will report to Tesla and ask them to investigate.

Yes and no... They are older 10 seer models (from 2003) and the LRA is 81A. I actually measured them at about 90A inrush. So the startup current is much too high for the Powerwalls. Tesla told me that soft starter devices would not be enough to bring down the LRA, so denied hooking them up...

Definitely so... see my photos above. It quickly went from a shiny blackish blue, to a dull gray in about 5 weeks. You can see the difference between where I was able to clean and where I could not. I'll send up the drone for more detail later.
