I'm having this issue as well, except I'm on ios 15.1.1 and tesla 2021.36.8. Can't remember if it started when the car updated to 36.8, but was around that time. Messages also seem very delayed and were often read prior to me even getting in the car.

I filed a report and had a Tesla service guy out this morning for this issue. I had tried everything to get it to trigger and nothing worked. The only way he could get it to trigger was using a jack and raising the car. Afterwards he found that it was a known firmware issue with the new cars...

I’m having the same issue, can’t trigger it myself. Once it worked when I pulled the handle, but hasn’t since. I found that someone backed in literally 3 inches from the passenger side the other day and would love to have seen if anything happened…

It seems like I already see more Ys driving around SLC than 3s, so could be just what they sell here? Everything here is AWD for the most part.

Definitely way more Ys, there was one 3 in the back that I could see a manufacture date of 5/21 on. There were the same 7-8 sitting out front that have been there for at least 3 weeks. Those were all updating too while I was there.

Just dropped by the SLC dealership and every 3/Y waiting for delivery was flashing as it was being updated. Guy there implied this should be good news…
