Just stumbled across this thread. Purchased my 2022 M3P in December, and requested that the delivery team at the PDX Macadam service center submit the registration with the transfer of my existing plates (not a Tesla trade in, btw). They seemed unsure if Oregon DMV would allow a new vehicle...

Anyone know when the Salem service center is supposed to open? I know it's going in the current Nissan dealership on Mission St., and while tenant improvement permits were pulled many months ago, no work has started.

This is the Model 3 Performance waiting room, and even if the Build Back Better (BBB) legislation was somehow resuscitated next year, the Model 3 Performance was never eligible for the tax credit even under the original BBB bill as the legislation had a purchase price cap of $55,000.

No questions asked at Carmax, or as part of Vroom’s online appraisal. After 58k miles I had decent degradation, with range capping out at 263 miles, but I don’t think that was even considered by either place.

Picked up my Red/White/no FSD M3P on Tuesday. All of 12 days from order to delivery! Sold my existing 2020 M3P stealth (white/black/FSD) with 58,000 miles to CarMax for $50k, which was $3,300 better than Tesla's trade-in offer. Vroom offered $52k, but read too many online reviews from sellers...

I'm guessing it has more to do with where they're delivering to, rather than the specs on the car. I ordered on 12/2 with the same red/white specs as you, and my EDD date, updated this morning, is now 12/13 - 12/31. No VIN as of yet either.

My order date was pushed up substantially this morning. OD: 12/2 EDD (12/3 - 12/7): Feb 28 - Mar 28 EDD (12/8): Dec 10 - 23

Ordered M3P red with white interior on 12/1. Estimated delivery at time of order was December, and now EDD shows as Feb 28 - Mar 28. Weirdly, if you were to order the same model this morning, Tesla's website still estimates December delivery. It'd be nice to have it sooner rather than later...

The NTSA required the external speaker for cars manufactured after 9/1/19, so that seems surprising.
