As far as I know, Tesla doesn't rely on the Bluetooth connection for album artwork. Instead, it downloads it through it's own service based on the song name, which ends up screwing it up most of the time. Also, Tesla pushed another update to me a couple days ago: 2020.20.1 I'll let you guys...

It seems to be fixed for me in 2020.16.2.1!!!

Give it some time, it may take up to a day for the issue to crop up again.

I was able to get Tesla to confirm this is a known issue and is planned to be fixed in a future firmware update. Let's hope it's soon...I've been struggling with this since October 2019.

I'm on the latest April update in my 2013 Model S and this is still an issue. I'm really upset with Tesla on this one...just fix the damn Bluetooth drivers already. This is the most annoying bug I have ever dealt with in my Tesla. It's been an issue since October 2019.

The most recent update in my dad's Model 3 links his phone Bluetooth volume to the car volume. The Model S gen 1 MCU appears to have a broken implementation of this.

OK I was mistaken. It appears that it was only fixed after a fresh install (similar to how it works for a little bit after a reset of the center diaplay). My Model S still exhibits the same problem

I have a 2013 Model S, and ever since the December Update I have had an issue with my Google Pixel 3a XL Bluetooth volume jumping from 100% down to almost zero, then up to around 60%. This happens for EVERY song change. My car volume does not control my phone Bluetooth volume, nor has it ever...

The trunk latch failed for the first time in my 2013 Model S with power lift gate this morning when I was trying to leave for work :( I tied it down with rope inside. It just doesn't latch when I shut it! Hopefully there is a new part that lasts longer...

Depending on speed there are some cases where it is more efficient to coast down hill rather than convert that kinetic energy to chemical energy. Plus, sometimes it's just fun to coast because the car rolls so well and it's aero is so slippery.

I usually press the accelerator just enough to prevent the car from going into full regen, then I press the gear selector into D.

I believe this is because he said he was only going 10 mph. There may be a threshold for requiring the brakes to be pressed. He should repeat the test at or over 25 mph to see if the situation changes.
