You're correct - in theory! I haven't been able to drive my "grounded" 2013 MS since May 29, as I'm still waiting for a replacement CPU1, with no estimate from Tesla as to when it will be available! Way beyond frustrated!

Akikiki - we've communicated before, my 2013 MS has been in my garage waiting for an MCU1 since early June. If there's a cue of 70, any guess as to how fast they are being produced? Will the MCU2s will be compatible to the 2013 year soon?

When did you report the MCU1 failure and how long before it was repaired? (I've been waiting six weeks now!)

I have a 2013 MS with a dead MCU1 - been waiting for 5 weeks for a replacement! I was told by a Tesla service rep that an MCU2 wasn't compatible with my car???
