    George Hotz's ‘comma one’ cancelled

it would be nice, if comma ai offered packaged solution ( like early Cruise Automation package ) with radar and cameras for any car. Maybe they will offer that in the future

    Autopilot simulation!

more than year ago here I argued for simulations to improve autopilot Game AI approach to help autonomous cars to avoid incidents glad this idea gets some steam :)

"Dataray"... was that a typo? (tech talk)

suppose it was "high speed data rate bus" and possibly it's either IEEE 802.3bw-2015 bus or IEEE P802.3bp Why the new Ethernet standard will spur innovation in the connected car

    EVs better take off soon!

that is because they did not check https://www.researchgate.net/file.PostFileLoader.html?id=573ad967dc332d855a065001&assetKey=AS:362652636336131@1463474535007 or Laboratory studies of dune sand for the use of construction industry in Sri Lank

    EVs better take off soon!

:) it is more about local sand ( see some more details on the same topic https://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/23/opinion/the-worlds-disappearing-sand.html?_r=0 ) . Now - remote lands ( Sakhara, other deserts ) are full of sand. And here, electric power again turns to help: no need to burn fuel to...

Elon getting into the tunneling business!

seems one extension of tunneling business might be building those things: Floating train at 2000 km/h set to store 10% of Dutch electricity it really synergetic to what Tesla does: tunneling+renewable energy

    WANTED: Engine Noise Simulator

For Tesla software devs: as there is a demand from many people - the sample code for engine sound : vdrift/carsound.cpp at master · VDrift/vdrift · GitHub vdrift/carengine.cpp at master · VDrift/vdrift · GitHub ( no need to copy this GPL code - but to get idea ) ( complete game can be...

    WANTED: Engine Noise Simulator

that's pretty easy to implement - there are lot of vehicle simulators with engine sounds, basically the sound part is couple pages of code ( plus 'simulated engine' - it's another couple pages of code - there is no need to be absolutely correct here - just to be good enough). Now what is...

Game AI approach to help autonomous cars to avoid incidents

got your idea - offline post processing of images, telemetry from game ( why them? because ALL points to your conclusion according to you) is human facing. as for me - gui like nvidia shows is a possibility - but maybe not. the reason I do not think three people are needed is that it was my...

Game AI approach to help autonomous cars to avoid incidents

Checked profiles, yes Robert Lin is a specialist in UI. and I also now think he will be working on UI as for I would gladly ask to give your theory on how it follows from " - Created in-game render debug view modes so that developers can quickly check why rendering doesn't work as expected...
